At Dunfield and Mead, we respect the individuality and wishes of our service users. Every service user, their family and wider support network is a valuable member of our team, and their needs and requirements are just as important as the specifications set out in each care plan. Dunfield & Mead is committed to engaging young people in education, training and employment. We focus on supporting young people into education and training and supporting them to achieve and progress towards independence. 

We see our role as surrogate parents and therefore take an interest in ensuring that the young people placed with our organisation are fully supported so that they can realise their potential. Our Key Workers monitor our service users’ school/college work and attend parent’s evenings and training reviews to support each service user.
